No.  Gala Organiser is a secure, cloud based software system that is accessed via an Internet Connection, so there is no need for hardware or downloads.  If you choose to download any reports that is of course your decision, but it's not necessary as all features are constantly accessible with a wifi connection.
Simply upload your chosen meet manager file (SportSystems .sef file or Hy-Tek .ev3 or .hyv file), fill in a few details regarding your meet and click 'process meet'  All instructions will then be displayed on the next page, including the link to send out to all invited clubs and individual swimmers.
Very safe.  Gala Organiser is run on an encrypted 256-bit SSL connection and in a state of the art data centre, where backups are taken to ensure your details are safe and secure.  The database, where all the details are stored, is separate from our website, and encrypted.  For further reassurance, we refer you to our full Privacy Policy the link to which can be found at the bottom of any page.

Yes - a total of 33 different reports ranging from All entries by club to Session Officials and spreadsheets for refunds.  The full list of reports is found by clicking on the 'Reports' icon on a meet line within Meet List when you look at the demo fixture.
You will have set a closing date when setting up the meet, so once that date arrives, the system closes the meet so no more entries are allowed.  You can then do 'housekeeping' tasks to ensure you don't have too many swimmers, refund any you need to etc. before you export your meet manager file and 'drop' it back into your chosen meet manager system to run the event on the day.
Individual swimmers pay using credit/debit cards - a Stripe.com account is required, or by using Instant Bank Payments - a GoCardless.com account is required.  Club swimmers - credit/debit card, Instant Bank Payment or BACS can be accepted if you wish to.  If offering BACS, you only mark the entries as paid once you've received the funds electronically.  Card payments and Instant Bank Payments are, of course, instant.  Our Payment Help Guide is available under 'Extras' for you to read how to set up your club to receive payments.
Both can be specified when setting up your meet - cost, no of tickets per session etc. Payment is taken as with the swimmer entries.  GO does not produce actual tickets so your club needs to produce these themselves - you can email them from within GO if you want to.
Yes.  Helpers and officials are added during club entry processing and reports are available to show who has been allocated to each session etc.
